Position Overview :
As a Lifestyle Assistant , you will play a vital role in fostering a thriving, engaged community. Supporting the Lifestyle Director, you’ll help plan and execute events, manage administrative tasks, and build meaningful relationships with residents. This position offers an excellent opportunity to use your creativity, organization, and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on community life. What You’ll Do :
Event Support and Coordination :
- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Director to plan and execute large-scale events while taking the lead on small-scale events. Organize and oversee signature community programs, including two community yard sales and four new resident orientation sessions each year.
- Provide staff services to support the Club Advisory Committee and ensure a positive resident experience.
Administrative Excellence :
Manage the annual charter process for community clubs, offering outstanding support to ensure their success.Maintain and update club pages on the community website, send community-wide emails, manage the online calendar of events, and distribute event surveys as needed.Assist with creating and maintaining a monthly activity calendar and weekly newsletter for the community.Handle routine tasks such as making bank deposits and other administrative duties as assigned by the Lifestyle Director.Community Engagement :
Build strong relationships with residents to understand their interests and foster program participation.Actively develop programming to meet community needs and enhance resident satisfaction.Your Key Skills & Requirements :
Qualifications :
Self-motivated and professional, with the ability to work patiently with a mature population.Excellent communication skills, including strong writing and proofreading abilities.Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through email, phone, and in-person interactions.Team player who fosters collaboration and contributes to a positive work environment.Certified in CPR and AED administration (or willing to obtain certification).Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays for major community-wide events.Core Competencies :
