Job Summary:
Automotive Dealership. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Cashier/Receptionist. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at our dealership's front desk as well as handling cashier functions. This is an individual contributor role in the auto industry, making it an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for cars and customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet customers as they enter the dealership, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls to appropriate departments, and take messages when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Process customer payments and accurately balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and mailing
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering office supplies
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Must have a friendly and approachable demeanor and be team-oriented
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check
