Kuik Run LLC is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Grocery Store Clerk II to help organize and run Kuik Run Store in Aniak. As Clerk II you will assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with day-to-day operations, compliance and outreach to surrounding communities.
Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)
- Assist Kuik Café with daily operations up to and including premade food and drinks.
- Assist with the efficient operations of the store, ensuring customer satisfaction, cleanliness, safety and overall product/ merchandise of store.
- Assist the Manager with ensuring merchandise is priced correctly.
- Role model in providing great customer service and demonstrate your enthusiasm to create a friendly environment for our customers.
- Assist Manager monitors the level of customer service and satisfaction and assists with action as required to address issues.
- Stock and rotate products in accordance with company standards, re-work sales floor presentations to maximize product appeal, and change prices and place orders as required.
- Provide customers and employees with a shopping and working environment that is clean, neat, and organized.
- Maintain great quality products for customers by assisting the Manager with ensuring the Kuik Run team follows correct product handling.
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and team members.
- Engage with customers through smiles, greetings and always giving a genuine thank you.
- This position will require weekend hours and the ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Offer suggestions about different products and enhance customer experience.

- Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with a high attention to detail.
- The ideal candidate must have excellent planning, organizing, and leadership/supervisory skills.
- Candidates will be able to interact effectively and professionally at all levels.
- Candidate must have the ability to assess and identify opportunities to advance Kuik Run, LLC.

- Enthusiastic desire to approach customers, ask questions, and make product and service recommendations.
- Experience with visual merchandising, inventory management, training and development, and sales and service.
Requirements & Education:
- Minimum of 2 years retail, experience in grocery retail preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
- Proficient in Point-of-Sale system
- Required to adhere to all government agency guidelines as it applies to COVID vaccine attestation/restrictions.
