About the Role
The Lead Controls Hardware Designer is responsible for leading a small team of designers in the development of control systems hardware. This involves managing all phases of design, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring that products meet performance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project engineers and managers to achieve project goals.
- Develop and implement design solutions using various software tools.
- Analyze and improve existing designs to optimize performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems hardware.
- Manage and lead a team of designers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in related field or equivalent amount of education and/or experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Advanced knowledge of design software and hardware.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-10 years' experience in designing machine tool equipment.
- Experience in Failure Mode Effect Analysis.
