Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy shifts.
Skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems, preferably Aloha POS, for order entry and payment processing.
- Strong guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Experience in bussing tables and assisting with food preparation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers to enhance overall service quality.
