The School Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. The receptionist ensures a smooth and organized school office while providing essential administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, parents, students, and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages promptly.
- Manage student attendance, tardiness, early dismissals, and daily check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Monitor the school's main entrance and enforce security protocols.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Maintain office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with bus companies regarding late arrivals or pickups.
- Keep the reception area neat, organized, and welcoming.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or school administration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in office administration is a plus).
- Previous experience in an office or customer service role preferred, especially in a school setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Working Conditions:
