What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Kuleto?
Our line cooks are very important members of our kitchen staff. They are responsible for making sure that food is prepared to the exact specifications of the chef, establishment, and customer. We want our line cooks to grow and move up in the kitchen to positions with more responsibility. The following duties expected of a line cook: - Station Set Up - Food Prep - Cook - Stock Station - Clean up
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
- At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and wait staff.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
- Must be able to follow printed recipes and plate specifications.
