What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Attorney position at Kulite?
Description
- Draft, negotiate, review, and process legal documents and all types of contracts from stakeholders of the business, including confidentiality agreements, purchase and supply agreements, distribution agreements, pricing contracts, and other agreements.
- Analyze and provide legal advice about interpretation of existing agreements, transaction structuring, enforcement, risk assesment, legal and regulatory compliance, corporate policies and various aspects of federal government prime and sub-contracting.
- Provide legal support to upper management and sales teams with dispute-resolution activites with vendors, customers and contractors. Coordinate and assist in developing policies, procedures and systems to support and facilitate efffcient contract development and analysis. Coordinate with external legal counsel to analyze legal and regulatory issues.
- Monitor the legal environment and trends concerning the contracts areas; continually improve templates to ensure compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned.
