What are the responsibilities and job description for the Printed Circuit Board Designer position at Kulite?
Description
Examine electronic schematics and supporting documents to develop, compute, and verify specifications for drafting data, such as configuration of parts, dimensions, and tolerances. Draft detail and assembly drawings of design components, circuitry and printed circuit boards, using computer-assisted equipment or standard drafting techniques and devices. Design printed circuit boards using OrCad 16.0 or higher software. Generate bill of materials to match schematic, import printed circuit software files to AutoCad to generate complete drawing package.
Other duties as required by Supervisor.
Position Requirements
BS Degree in Design or Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent and relevant education and experience. Technical training in printed circuit board design software, such as OrCad Cadence or Alegro Cadence. Fluent use of auto-router and auto placement feature of design software is a plus, while maintaining design constraints. Excellent written and communication skills.
