Job Title : Information Technology Manager

FLSA Status : Exempt

Salary : $106,760 - $149,300

Reports to : Chief Technology Officer

Location : Onsite.

KULR Technology Location : Webster, TX

Travel : 10% travel

Position Overview :

Manages the implementation and administration of information systems and equipment in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Administers internal procedures and guidelines to diagnose and resolve technical issues across different systems and technologies, including hardware, software, and networks. Oversees the analysis of business needs and selects IT hardware and software products to support internal business processes. Develops detailed documentation of methodologies, processes, and specifications of an organization's IT systems and assists with the planning of the organization's IT roadmap. Manages the IT strategy and roadmap to ensure computer equipment, hardware, and software operate in alignment with organizational needs and standards. Plans and implements an organization's network infrastructure including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks and monitors network performance. Allocates resources and oversees departmental budget to support and manage IT projects through the entire lifecycle. Supports the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and serves as primary interface to the CTO and vCISO.

Functions :

  • Manages the implementation and administration of information systems and equipment in alignment with organizational policies and objectives.
  • Administers internal procedures to diagnose and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Oversees the analysis of business needs and selects IT hardware and software to support organizational processes.
  • Develops and maintains detailed documentation of IT methodologies, processes, and system specifications.
  • Assists in the planning and management of the organization's IT strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Plans and implements network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, while monitoring and optimizing network performance.
  • Allocates resources and oversees the IT departmental budget to support and manage projects through their lifecycle.
  • Ensures IT equipment, hardware, and software operate efficiently and meet organizational standards and requirements.
  • Develops and manages the organization's IT strategy to align with technological advancements and business growth.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to align IT systems with business needs and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related area as an individual contributor
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) :

  • Understanding of NIST and CMMC.
  • Understanding of best practices for CUI, EAR, ITAR Data Management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise-level network design, implementation, and management, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems.
  • Expertise in managing and maintaining IT hardware, ensuring compatibility, performance, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Proficiency in implementing and overseeing ITAM practices to track, manage, and optimize IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Skilled in developing and executing IT strategies, aligning technology with business goals, and leading IT teams effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT operational processes, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining high availability.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize IT performance metrics to enhance efficiency, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • Experience in managing complex IT programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and tools to protect data, systems, and networks from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Expertise in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure connectivity and performance.
  • Ability to evaluate, monitor, and optimize software performance to meet organizational requirements.
  • Skilled in defining and documenting software requirements to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Proficiency in managing IT systems, including configuration, integration, and performance optimization.
  • Strong capability in leading technical projects, from planning and resource allocation to implementation and closure.
  • Knowledge of developing and enforcing IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational consistency.
  • Hands-on experience with ITAM tools and software for tracking and managing IT assets efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others, build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to accomplish business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to assume personal accountability, address limitations, exhibits honesty and respect towards others, the company and oneself.
