Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating a positive dining experience.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival
- Seat guests and manage reservations efficiently
- Provide menus and assist guests with any inquiries about the menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
- Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth seating and guest flow
- Assist in taking to-go orders or managing phone reservations
- Handle guest concerns or special requests with professionalism
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest services, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries
- Knowledge of food service procedures and standards
