Position: Employee Relations Representative Department: Human Resources
Accountable to provide Human Resources generalist duties and services with heavy emphasis on recruiting and selecting top talent to the organization, employee relations services, and supporting the overall Human Resources strategy and initiatives.
General Job Requirements/Experience/Background:
- Collaborate with department leadership to identify staffing needs, skills & competencies of desired talent; assist leadership to appropriately address employee relations matters;
- Identify effective and reliable supply sources for top talent; maintain a positive, constructive working relationship with the sources; prepare recruiting material, recruiting ads;
- Establish effective and efficient work flow processes to expedite the selection of top talent;
- Source, screen & vet potential candidates; manage on-site interviews; participate in on-site interviews; develop pipeline of talent for production areas; make decisions on candidates; utilize social media & job boards as recruiting tool; enhance positive candidate experience;
- Document applicant flow; maintain recruiting metrics; complete EEO reports and other information to monitor recruiting results and effectiveness; utilize applicant tracking system;
- Conduct competitive research and provide analysis and recommendations to leadership;
- Conduct or assist with onboarding of new hires; manage new hire performance appraisal process; conduct new hire surveys; conduct exit interviews;
- Provide consultation on policies, procedures, and fundamentals of core areas of HR to employees and management; assist/conduct investigations, issue resolutions;
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment; independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision and escalate more complex issues;
- Demonstrated ability to report to work on a regular and consistent basis; work safely; and follow company policies and procedures; ability to maintain confidentiality; some local travel;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office products;
- Customer service mindset; fosters positive employee and public relations; supports & fosters culture of teamwork; highly motivated; high degree of initiative and dependability required;
- Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned or expected;
- Degree in Human Resources or other related degree expected; experience in recruiting and recruiting related responsibilities and employee relations required; knowledge of ADP Workforce Now a plus.
