Quality Inspection Supervisor
Job Requirements/ Experience / Background:
- Accountable for all Quality Inspection Team Leaders, Visual Inspectors, TUG Inspectors, Mold Inspection and Final Inspection personnel.
- Define and specify the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products.
- Coordinate quality training for all employees.
- Responsible for driving overall Quality in production development.
- Coordinate and structure monthly progress reports of Quality KPIs / Key Performance Indicators / continuous improvement activities.
- Drive, facilitate, track and support improvement activities utilizing continuous improvement methods. (Structured Problem Solving, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing / 5s)
- Facilitate third party and customer audits.
- Lead internal Quality audits.
- Take an active role in hazard recognition, injury prevention, and emergency first response.
- Escalate matters to appropriate management personnel as necessary or required to adequately communicate or handle the situation;
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment; supervisory experience required;
- Demonstrated ability to report to work on a regular and consistent basis; work safely; and follow company policies and procedures;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; efficient use of Microsoft Excel & Word;
- Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned or expected.
