POSITION SUMMARY:
Support the entire function of the human resources department, including policy interpretation, payroll, attendance, FMLA and COBRA administration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for the new hire orientation process (scheduling, processing paperwork, handbook knowledge, etc.)
· Handle all benefits enrollment (medical, dental, vision, supplemental, etc.)
· Responsible for processing monthly attendance bonus
· Advise associates on policies interpretations
· Responsible for tracking daily attendance records for all hourly Associates and preparing Attendance Counseling Reports for associates
· Responsible for online benefits administration of participants
· Responsible for timely distribution of COBRA information to former Associates
· Conduct periodic trainings with all associates (hourly and salary)
· Responsible for Associate personnel file filing
· Responsible for preparing FMLA benefit and personal leave letters
· Oversee training of all new associates through the onboarding process
· Responsible for assisting with improvements to training process
· Assist with event planning for company functions
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· 5s Principles must be a priority
· Assist in Associate activities
· Track all uniform orders and repairs
· Any other duties as assigned by Human Resources Assistant Manager
EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE:
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment and 3-5 years experience in human resources position
High School diploma or equivalent
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to interact with associates of all levels and outside vendors
· Excellent work record, including attendance
· Willingness to work overtime or weekends if necessary
· Must be familiar with a variety of Human Resource field concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
· Must be detail-oriented
· Must possess a high level of documentation skills
· High degree of attention and care required to prevent injury to self and others
· Must have good motivational skills
· Must be able to develop strong, trusting relationships with all Associates

Pay: $48,464.00 - $60,000.00 per year
