Compensation: $17 - $21 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
- Monday & Wednesday: 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:15 AM - 1:00 PM
- Optional Thursdays: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Kumon of Plano Four Corners is looking for a friendly, outgoing, organized, and committed Office Assistant to join our team. This part-time role is perfect for someone seeking a small yet meaningful position. As the first point of contact for parents and students, you will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and seamless experience in our learning center. We are seeking someone who is not only detail-oriented and dedicated but also enjoys engaging with others and is passionate about creating a positive environment.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Enroll new students and verify student enrollment.
- Track enrollment metrics and assist with tuition collection.
- Manage appointment confirmations and respond to emails and phone calls.
- Answer phones and address inquiries professionally.
- Order and manage office supplies.
- Assist in maintaining a well-organized and efficient office environment.
- Handle other administrative and smaller tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- QuickBooks: Must be proficient and familiar with QuickBooks including knowledge of how to maintain accurate financial records and documents, adding new customers, entering sales receipts and invoices, adding and maintaining recurring transactions, and obtaining customer financial statements as needed
- Strong Computer Literacy: QBO, Microsoft office, Google Suite, etc.
- Data Entry Skills: Documents must be accurate and detail oriented
- Attention to detail: Accuracy in tracking and organizing information is essential.
- Communication skills: Clear and effective communication with parents, students, and staff.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain order in a busy environment.
- Efficiency: Quick and reliable task execution without compromising quality.
- Conflict resolution: Handle concerns and complaints with professionalism and tact.
Preferred
· 1-2 years of Office Administrator experience.
· High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
