Classroom assistant for Kumon Center of Hilltop
Do you like a fast-paced work environment? Do you like working with kids? Kumon, the world's largest after-school enrichment program, seeks energetic Part-time Math and Reading Assistants for the Virginia Beach-Hilltop center's after-school math and reading program.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting students (pre-school through high school) with Math and Reading
- Grading math & reading worksheets
- Light administrative duties
- Knowledge of Kumon Method is preferred but not required
- Experience in a paid or non-paid job working with kids including teachers aide, tutoring, coach, etc is preferred
- Proficiency in HS Math (Alg II and/or Calc) and/or HS English/Writing is a plus

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $7.25 - $9.00/hour.
