After School Tutor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning, with the ability to engage and educate students of various ages and learning abilities. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children and have experience in classroom settings, special education, or preschool environments.

Duties

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of each student.
• Utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience and facilitate effective tutoring sessions.
• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects, ensuring a supportive learning environment.
• Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to promote academic growth.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to support student development.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters a love for learning.

Requirements

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children or students in a classroom setting.
• Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools that can enhance the tutoring process.
• Experience working with special education students is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents.
• A genuine passion for educating and inspiring students to reach their full potential.

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• After school
• Evening shift
• No weekends
