As a Center Assistant, you will perform a variety of instructional and center management tasks such as: Grading and preparing student classwork and homework
Supporting students to adhere to the Kumon Method and center procedures
Exemplifying strong customer service to provide an excellent experience to students and parents
Assisting with the enrollment process to provide parents and students with a strong start
Providing feedback to students and communicating student progress to parents and the Instructor as needed
Individualizing strategies for student development based on student goals and communication with Instructor
Basic Qualifications: Strong proficiency in high school Math and/or English
Available to work evenings and/or weekends and perform various tasks within the Center as assigned
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with coworkers and customers
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Love of learning
Candidate may work with young students (ages 4-7) on assignments relating to basic math and reading proficiency. Ideal candidates should have an interest in working with young students and have a desire to help students learn and achieve their potential. Grading the books with answer books provided. Candidate must enjoy working with students. Applicants must be proficient in math through Algebra and have a passion for reading. Must be focused, diligent, and enjoy working with students of all ages (pre-K to middle school).
Must be respectful and polite; show professionalism, punctuality, and a willingness to learn. Must be committed to assigned schedule.

Requirements for successful candidates:
Proficient English skills (e.g., pronunciation, grammar, spelling, comprehension, etc.).
Proficient in Math (e.g., arithmetic).
Outgoing and service-oriented personality.
Energetic & proactive (e.g., the ability to work well under pressure & multitask).
Punctual, well organized & reliable.
Work Hours: 12 -16 hours per week and after school hours.
