We're searching for Kumon teacher Assistant,
math and reading teacher assistants, with a preference for college students, especially those from COC or USUN.
Flexible schedules available on Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or a schedule tailored to your needs. Join us in fostering English reading skills for children!
Openings from 2:30 to 6:30, Monday to Thursday.
```Duties```
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach mathematics concepts to students using various instructional strategies and resources.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Utilize technology and other educational tools to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary activities and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
```Requirements```
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in mathematics instruction.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with students with diverse learning needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to effectively manage student behavior.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development.
