We specialize in high-quality landscaping services, including pool installation, drainage solutions, spring clean-ups, and lawn care maintenance. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to manage our financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Account Reconciliation. The ideal candidate must have at least two years of experience using QuickBooks and be comfortable working in a small business environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable (processing invoices, making payments, reconciling vendor statements).
- Handle Accounts Receivable (invoicing customers, recording payments, following up on outstanding balances).
- Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Maintain and organize financial records in QuickBooks.
- Assist with payroll processing as needed.
- Prepare basic financial reports for management review.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal team members regarding financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance-related roles.
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple financial tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in the landscaping, construction, or service industry is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule & Employment Options:
- Flexible schedule within business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
- Work hours can be negotiated (between 20-30 hours per week).
- Both W2 employee and 1099 contract options are available.
