POSITION SUMMARY
Assemble hydraulic power units of varying size and complexity. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair hydraulic systems both in the shop and out in the field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Build hydraulic power units according to engineering specifications
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components
- Operate various tools such as saws, benders, mills and drill presses
- Use overhead cranes, hoists and forklifts to assemble components
- Capable of drilling and tapping holes to industry standards
- Assemble hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, filters and heat exchangers
- Rout and install hydraulic hose, tubing and fittings
- Read and follow drawings, prints, and component installation instructions
- Maintain service vehicles
- Maintain a neat and clean work environment
- Maintain a professional image and relationship with customers
- Responsible for the quality of work performed
- Responsible for completing tasks in a timely fashion
- Support the Kundinger Quality Control process through compliance with the Quality Management requirements, customer focus and continual improvement.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Education: High School Graduate or Vocational School or Equivalent preferred
- Experience: 1 to 3 years in fluid power preferred. Advanced mechanical aptitude preferred. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, fluid power and electrical schematics/drawings.
- Computer Skills: MS Office 365
- Skills taught after hire as needed: Product Training, Epicor Profit21 (Computer System) Training, ISO Training, Workplace Safety Training, Welding Process Training
- Certificates & Licenses: Fluid Power Technician Certification preferred
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, must be insurable w/ acceptable motor vehicle record
Other Physical Requirements:
Some travel required
