Your Roadmap of Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage a team of Service Technicians specializing in specific vehicle systems or functions.
Hire, train, and evaluate auto service technicians, conducting timely and constructive performance reviews.
Organize and oversee employees' work schedules to ensure efficient service operations.
Identify mechanical problems using visual inspections and computer diagnostic equipment.
Perform and oversee specialized repairs, replacements, or maintenance on vehicle components.
Ensure all critical parts are examined and repairs are completed correctly through thorough testing.

Your Performance Specs :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence certification for area of expertise.

Three years of related experience in automotive service.

Extensive knowledge of specialized automotive areas and general vehicle repair.

Excellent mechanical repair skills and proficiency with computer diagnostic equipment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work safely in a noisy environment with various odors present.

Physical capability to lift 30 lbs. regularly and perform inspections requiring bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting.

Preferred Qualifications :

Advanced certifications in multiple automotive specialties.

Experience in a supervisory role within the automotive industry.

Strong leadership and team management skills.
