Product Designer/Graphic Designer for stationery brand

At Kunitsa Co we design and sell journals, stationery, and paper goods. We are a small business with big ambitions. We have been growing fast, so now we need extra hands!

We are looking for a designer with experience in print and digital design and a flair for a simple and clean aesthetic.

We are looking for at least 20 hours a week, but the position could be full-time. The position is in-office to start with (Williamsburg area), but we are open to a hybrid remote model later on.

Your main tasks would include:

• Designing new physical products (journals, notepads, stickers, packaging, etc.)
• Researching new ideas for products, and presenting drafts, sketches, and ideas.
• Creating mood boards and following trends.
• Staying organized and keeping track of files and revisions.
• Adhering to (and maybe improving :) the current design guidelines.

You will also be helping with different digital design tasks such as newsletters, editing product photography, social media content, digital ads, Amazon A content, etc.

Here are the qualifications we think are important:

• Be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Know about typography, color theory, and composition.
• It's preferred if you have knowledge and experience with print (offset).
• Be familiar with Pantone and CMYK printing.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Meticulous & detail-oriented, but able to adapt and move fast if need be.
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously, staying on top of deadlines, and communicating progress and updates.
• You should be easy-going and nice, that way we'll get along super well :) (plus-points if you like small cute dogs, since we have one!) :)
