Core Functions
- Ensure precise and timely payroll management for multi-state employees.
- Reconcile payroll with internal records, swiftly addressing and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate across departments, ensuring compliance with tax and deduction regulations.
- Manage systems integration of benefits into payroll succinctly.
- Stay abreast with labor law updates to proactively refine payroll procedures.
- Build and nurture vital relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
- Initiate process improvements to mitigate errors and optimize workflow efficiencies.
- Regular audit tasks to uphold data integrity and compliance.
- A preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 7-10 years dedicated to multi-state payroll operations and benefits management.
- Expert grasp of labor laws at federal, state, and local levels.
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday) and Excel expertise.
- A certification in payroll or benefits, such as CPP or CEBS, adds value.
- Adept customer relationship skills and an analytical mind.
