What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Kurban Hospitality/ Gesto Artisan Pizzeria?
Join our team as a skilled and passionate Host at our new artisan pizzeria to open February 2025 in Downtown Delray Beach! Your role will be pivotal in contributing to the success of our establishment. We seek hospitality professionals with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. Experience in high-volume restaurant operations is preferred, but your personality and desire to deliver outstanding hospitality matters most.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and most holidays.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in the food industry, including food handling and preparation.
- Experience utilizing Open Table to manage reservations and seating - Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine a plus.
- Knowledge of dietary department and special dietary requests.
- Knowledge of Wine and Beer a plus .
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with food industry standards and best practices.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
