About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Boiler/Burner/Controls Specialists for Commercial and Industrial applications. This role is ideal for skilled technicians who excel in troubleshooting, combustion tuning, and control systems for boiler and burner equipment. The position requires hands-on experience with advanced control systems, burner upgrades, and efficiency improvements. Training and certification opportunities are available for candidates at all levels, from apprentices to senior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform combustion tuning, troubleshooting, and burner control system upgrades.
- Conduct factory start-up and commissioning of hydronic boilers, steam systems, and associated thermal equipment.
- Analyze boiler rooms for reliability and efficiency improvements.
- Work with hot water and steam boilers, deaerators, feed systems, economizers, and heat recovery equipment.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and control instrumentation.
- Provide technical reports and documentation.
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, repair, and installation services.
- Participate in on-call emergency service rotation (additional compensation provided).
- Follow safety procedures, including confined space and lockout/tagout training.
- Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and fleet vehicles per company policy.
Key Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in boiler, burner, and control system maintenance and installation.
- Understanding of combustion tuning, burner conversions, and advanced control systems.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical and control systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Ability to work independently with strong customer service skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
