Responsibilities:
- Design and detail mechanical components used in the KJLC product lines
- Work to budgets and timelines relative to project tasks
- Create Bills of Material in the corporate ERP system
- Engage with Sales and Product Management regarding project requirements, and interface with internal machine shop staff to determine cost-effective manufacturing solutions
- Ensure timely compliance with company workplace policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong 3D CAD experience
- Strong knowledge of GD&T principles
- Minimum two (2) years experience in mechanical design
- Two (2) years experience with Solid Edge or other mid-range modeling package
- Two (2) years vacuum system design experience
