Kurt Manufacturing is on a mission to fill two Quality Engineer positions within our contract Machining Division.

Key responsibilities include gathering quality requirements from engineering drawings; Developing quality plans; Determining the gauges and fixtures needed to produce products per customer specifications; Applying problem-solving techniques to inspire process improvements; and Championing adherence to the highest quality standards
Essential Functions
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products.
Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical or mechanical.
Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instruction for recording, evaluation and reporting quality and reliability data.
Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $79,000 to $105,000. The exact salary may be determined on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
