Job Summary
The Quality Manager plans, coordinates and directs the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Essential Functions
Data Analysis and Standards Development: Analyzing statistical data and product specifications to determine current standards and set future quality and reliability expectations.
Quality Control Objectives: Formulating and maintaining quality control goals and coordinating those goals with production procedures to enhance product reliability and reduce costs.
Inspection and Testing Oversight: Directing department employees to ensure inspections and testing in continuous quality control over materials, facilities, and products.
Supervision: Ensuring department employees are properly trained on tools, equipment, and procedures; regularly monitoring performance to ensure adherence to policies and quality standards; and addressing performance issues through coaching or discipline as needed.

Required
Associates degree or 4 years of related experience
Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills
The ability to build and promote positive relationships
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in quality engineering or related field
Experience with ISO: 9001:2015
Experience supervising a team to include performance management, employee development, performance discussions and discipline
Ability to plan and develop standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality and train employees on quality procedures and the use of quality tools.
ASQ Certification in Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality Engineer (CMQE)
APICS Certification
