THE OPPORTUNITY:

• We are looking for a SQL Analyst to be responsible for troubleshooting Customer issues relating to data, ETL processes and JSON API’s.
• You will gain exposure to JavaScript, liaise with Customers regarding ongoing issues and operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• At a high level the process involves ingesting Customer data files, in a variety of formats.
• Transforming and loading the Customer data into our standard database structure.
• Adjusting and maintaining the fact sheet templates according to Customer requirements.
• Extracting monthly data into the fact sheet templates and producing batches of fact sheets.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Analyzing the Customer’s reporting requirements from a data, formatting, and report workflow perspective
• Configuring our custom web based tools and report layouts based on Customer specifications, and facilitate fully automated report production
• Engaging in regular interaction with Customers, to ensure that they’re being kept up-to-date on project and document production delivery
• For the right candidates, there is the opportunity to take a leadership role in developing solutions and/or other team members
• Monitoring production runs to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of reports
• Creating and configure ETL load jobs for data ingestion into a standard data schema

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ANALYSTS WITH:

• The Ability to analyze a Customer’s report specification and convert it to a functional specification that can be tracked, costed, and implemented
• Application configuration and development where applicable based on functional specification
• Intermediate or above T-SQL development experience – required to write and debug advanced SQL, experience with functions, stored procedures, tables, and views.
• Proven knowledge fault finding ability using a variety of technologies (ideally ETL tools, APIs, and Reporting/Data Visualization Engines).
• Proven Customer liaison and etiquette ability, with a mindset of delivering a consistent positive customer experience
• High quality communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and presentation skills
• Attention to detail, and the ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues
• Ability to work well under pressure within a team context
• The ability to mentor or coach less experienced team members will be looked upon favorably
