Role Mission: DEVELOP & GROW NEW BUSINESS
As the Business Development Representative (BDR), your main focus will be to help grow new and existing business by assisting our sales team with day-to-day tasks and activities. You may also work with existing customers to grow that business through deeper product offerings and top of mind awareness.
You will work closely with an Account Manager and our customers to assist with quotes, processing orders, growing existing/new business, and administrative tasks via telephone, email, social media, and our CRM/ERP platform.
Onsite and virtual training will be provided to perform these tasks and duties that will earn you uncapped commissions.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Wind and is primarily based out of the employee's home.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Learn our Oracle Based "Netsuite" system and be able to:
- Complete Order Entry and Quote Entry for Sales Orders.
- Send Purchase Orders and Review Inventory History to Make Recommendations
- Be an advocate for clients, customers, and coworkers.
- Must be willing to follow up on tasks until completion.
- Become a technical wind resource to key prospects and existing accounts to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction.
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, performance, or specifications.
- Develop strong supplier relationships to obtain accurate information regarding availability, shipment, and delivery dates.
- Assist in troubleshooting inventory, shipping issues, and expedite backorders if needed
- Help maintain Open and Expiring Quotes.
- Effectively use our CRM/ERP platform to communicate with our team and customers using tasks, events, and opportunities to further new and/or existing business
- Think Outside of the Box. The mentality of the team is "the best idea wins", and we are always trying to improve our processes and procedures to maximize efficiency/effectiveness.
- High School Diploma required. Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Inside or Outside sales experience in the Wind Industry is ideal.
- Experience with Microsoft Office is a must.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and remotely under guidelines from management.
- Excellent inter-personal skills including client and employee relations.
- Ability to function as an effective team member in a collaborative sales environment.
- Must have the ability to function in a fast-paced environment - multitasking and prioritizing are important.
