Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Proven utilization of knowledge of electrical, industrial controls, mechanical, hydraulic, compressed air, boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration systems, waste treatment systems, and building maintenance in a hi-speed CPG environment
- Proven knowledge and implementation of continuous improvement techniques such as 5S, Lean, TPM
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Perform equipment installations and modifications.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Work closely with production teams to identify equipment issues and implement solutions to optimize operations.
- Utilize maintenance software to track repairs, schedule maintenance activities, and manage inventory of maintenance supplies.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Must be able to maintain knowledge of and exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals
- Must have the ability to use close and distance vision including color and peripheral vision with or without vision correction means
- Must be able to visually and auditorily detect obstacles and potential dangers in a production environment setting
- Effective prioritization and time management skills to balance multiple tasks.
- May be required to work overtime, weekends, or on rotating shifts as needed.

- Safety compliance: Prioritizes safety by actively adhering to all LOCO and OSHA standards and forklift safety protocols while maintaining focus in potentially hazardous environments.
- Physical abilities: Meet the physical demands of the role, including static pull strength of 84 lbs., push 60 lbs., lift 50 lbs. Mount/dismount a sit-down forklift.
- Technical skills: Possess basic computer skills to operate production related software and maintain digital records. Forklift knowledge (sit-down)
- Compliance: Understanding and adherence to GMP regulations and procedures.
- Systems Proficiency: Ability to utilize CMMS systems (e.g., EMaint) for work order management and maintenance planning.
- Continuous improvement: Maintain a process optimization
Experience and Education
- A college degree (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineer, or a related science field)
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Journeyman certificate a plus
- Experience conducting PMs on Industrial Equipment
- Experience in the maintenance of converting and web-fed coating equipment a plus
- Forklift experience
