RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
- Shall provide all personnel, supervision, materials and other items and services necessary to effectively evaluate and provide occupational therapy services.
- Services shall be provided onsite.
- Shall work collaboratively with the Special Education Coordinator / School Supervisor, school staff, students, and parents.
- Provide ongoing therapy to special education students currently in treatment as identified by their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
- Provide comprehensive Occupational Therapy Evaluations as designated by Special Education Coordinator / School Supervisor.
- Main Individual Education Plans according to the Local and State regulations.
- Consultation with Teacher Assistance Team / problem solving team as requested by Special Education Coordinator / School Supervisor.
- Provide prompt completion and delivery of evaluation reports.
- If requested to, will attend all Initial Eligibility meetings to review evaluation results with parents and staff.
- ll evaluations will be completed within 25 school days as required by South Dakota State law.
- ll evaluation reports will be completed with 30 calendar days as required by South Dakota State law.
