Job Title: Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care in an underserved community.

About the Role:

• Provide direct care to pediatric, geriatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting.
• Assess and diagnose needs to produce a plan of action to meet identified needs by providing medical health services to individuals and families.
• Interpret x-ray imaging results and laboratory test results and findings.
• Apply Medical Doctor skills in all phases of healthcare services.
• Assist with community outreach activities in the local area.

The Northern Navajo Medical Center is located in the Four Corners Region of the United States, serving the Navajo Nation, the largest Indian tribe in the country.

The facility offers a wide range of services, including internal medicine, family practice, urgent and emergency care, pediatrics, general surgery, women's health, mental health, respiratory therapy, and more.

Requirements:

• Maintain active license as a Medical Doctor in this state or any other state of the United States of America throughout the duration of this contract.
• Possess and maintain Board Certification or be Board Eligible with the American Board of Family Medicine throughout the duration of this contract.
• Have BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
