About the Facility - 49th Medical Group - Holloman AFB
The 49th Wing, located at Holloman Air Force Base, NM, supports national security objectives by deploying worldwide to support peacetime and wartime contingencies. The wing provides combat-ready Airment and Guardians, trains F-16 Fighting Falcon pilots and MQ-9 Reaper pilots and sensor operators. Additionally, the wing delivers Air Transportable Clinics and Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources while providing support to more than 21,000 military and civilian personnel. The wing has a proud history of service in World War II, Korea, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia and NATO-led Operation Allied Force.

Psychologist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
- The Psychologist will have an average of 4-7 patients per day case load.
- Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
- Shall conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
- Shall provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
- Assist in rehabilitation of patients.
