Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Inspector II to join our team! The Quality Inspector II is responsible for working at customer production facilities and/or locations to ensure that products being produced or sold meet customer expectations. This role involves examining materials to verify they align with provided quality standards and expectations. Additionally, Quality Inspectors are expected to communicate inspection findings to internal teams clearly and concisely.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect using industry-appropriate methods, including comparing to standards, measuring features, examining functionality, and conducting visual inspections.
- Record inspection results by completing reports that summarize parts as good, repaired, or rejected.
- Create detailed inspection reports and effectively communicate findings with internal teams and customers.
- Follow established standards, guides, and checklists.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and follow provided work instructions.
- Maintain clear and frequent communication with team members.
- Manage on-site tools and equipment responsibly.
- Adhere to all work site rules and guidelines.
- Support ad hoc projects based on customer needs.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector.
- Strong communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with smart devices (e.g., cell phone, tablet).
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to consistently identify failures during inspections.
- Strong adherence to quality standards and guidelines.
- Sound decision-making skills for inspection and audit processes (e.g., acceptable vs. unacceptable features).
- Ability to travel to multiple customer facilities, including locations in other U.S. states (especially Florida) and possibly Mexico.
- Proficiency in speaking and reading Spanish is highly desirable.
- Competence in using testing tools as required.
- Ability to read engineering drawings is preferred.
- Effective time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to work safely in a busy work environment
- Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours per day.
- Must be able to access different departments within a given location.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
- Visual acuity required to perform detailed tasks accurately.
- Must have good manual dexterity and precise hand-eye coordination for tasks such as handling tools and small parts.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
