Cannabis Overnight Budtender - Classen Kush House

Kush House is looking for a full-time budtender to join our team! We are a small, family-owned dispensary in Oklahoma City, OK. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cannabis and wants to grow with the company.

ABOUT THE JOB

The primary function of the budtender is to sell cannabis products in a high-volume, cash only environment. This position will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, product pricing, product quality control, product setup, and ensuring that all products are being properly displayed and sold in compliance with state and federal laws. The budtender will also be responsible for assisting customers with any product questions and providing customer service. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week. Hours may vary between 20-40 hours per week.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide customers with information about cannabis products, including effects, benefits, dosages, side effects, and packaging
• Prepare cannabis products for sale according to customer requests including but not limited to prepackaging, label printing, cutting, labeling, packaging, and storing
• Cross-sell products to further satisfy customers’ needs
• Answer customer questions about products and services
• Provide customer service to ensure that all customers are satisfied and that the store is clean and organized
• Ensure that the POS system is set up correctly and that correct prices are being displayed on the sales floor
• Perform opening or closing duties as needed including stocking shelves, cleaning up the front display area, etc.
• Assist other departments in a fast-paced environment
• This position may require working on weekends or evenings (no scheduled shifts) as needed based on business needs. Hours may vary between 20-40 hours per week.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Previous retail experience preferred but not required
• Cannabis knowledge preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
