Job Title : Mid to Senior Level DevOps Engineer
Location : McLean, VA (Onsite role)
Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes, Java, Groovy, and Python, with extensive experience in Jenkins DSL and various deployment tools such as Spinnaker, Rafay, and Harness. This role requires a deep understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) processes, as well as the ability to design, develop, and maintain robust DevOps pipelines.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins DSL.
Develop and manage Kubernetes clusters for deployment and orchestration of applications.
Write and maintain scripts in Groovy, Java, and Python to automate various DevOps tasks.
Utilize deployment tools such as Spinnaker, Rafay, and Harness to manage application deployments.
Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the CI / CD pipeline and production environments.
Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management.
Ensure security and compliance requirements are met throughout the DevOps processes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related role.
Expertise in Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and management of clusters.
Proficiency in Java, Groovy, and Python programming languages.
Extensive experience with Jenkins DSL for CI / CD pipeline development.
Hands-on experience with deployment tools such as Spinnaker, Rafay, and Harness.
Strong understanding of CI / CD processes and best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with additional scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
