As a Security Administrator in a financial services organization"s Information Security team, this role will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring security controls and resolving issues across our hybrid cloud environment, with a focus on Microsoft Azure, M365, and on-premises infrastructure security. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical security expertise and the ability to work effectively in both cloud and on-premises environments in a regulated industry with high security and compliance requirements.
Having a DevSecOps mindset and experience with infrastructure / security as code practices is preferred.
What you"ll do
Security Operations & Incident Response
Work directly with the Security and Risk leadership to design and implement security policies and frameworksParticipate in security incident response activities including data breaches and virus outbreaksMonitor security events and system logs using Security / SIEM tools to detect and respond to threatsCoordinate security incident response activities across technical teamsDevelop, test, and implement disaster recovery strategies from a security viewpointAccess Management & Compliance
Manage privileged access using PIM and PAGs, conducting regular access reviewsEnsure security controls meet financial industry regulations and standardsCoordinate with compliance officers on security-related regulatory requirementsMaintain system asset management including component inventory and documentationCoordinate and oversee third-party penetration testing activitiesSecurity Infrastructure Management
Evaluate, configure, and manage security solutions across hybrid cloud environmentParticipate in the implementation of security systems such as endpoint security, firewall, and anti-malware systemsConduct regular security assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilitiesRecommend and implement improvements and upgradesCoordinate with engineering teams on secure cloud (PaaS) implementationsDevelop automation solutions using modern scripting languages to ensure reliable outcomeLeadership & Guidance

7 years of IT Security experience, with at least 4 years focusing on Microsoft technologiesDeep knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services, including Defender, Sentinel, and Entra IDExtensive experience with hybrid cloud security architecture and controlsStrong background in security tools administration and configurationProven experience with endpoint security solutions and modern device management (Intune)Advanced knowledge of network security concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, and SASEExperience leading security monitoring, incident response, and security operationsComprehensive understanding of identity and access management principles and technologiesThe pay range for this role is :
