About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is critical to our manufacturing operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, ERP systems, inventory management, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders, packing slips, and physical counts.
- Interpret correct part numbers using drawings, tape measurers, and calipers.
- Accurately record inventory transactions using our Epicor ERP system. Ensuring part numbers, quantities, and units of measure are accurate.
- Put away inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Pull and stage materials for manufacturing based on production schedules and material requirements.
- Create and maintain short lists for staged materials that have missing components.
- Move materials between process centers such as machining and painting.
- Prepare and package components for shipment to customers, including generating shipping labels and documentation.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment and tools, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and label printers.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in using an ERP system for inventory management.
- Ability to accurately count and verify inventory.
- Experience with shipping and receiving procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Forklift experience preferred.
