Position Summary :
The Benefit and Leave Administrator is responsible for assisting with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs. This role will communicate regularly with employees across the KVC Health Systems and subsidiaries.
Education :
Associates Degree
Experience :
Minimum of two years of experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills :
Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners, third party administrators and other vendors.
Research and analytical skills.
High acumen around critical thinking and organization.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Experience with ADP or similar industry HCM / HRIS / HRMS software.
Knowledge of employee benefits and laws.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Certification / Licensure :
At least 21 years old
Valid Drivers License
Valid Auto Insurance
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
Process monthly provider invoices
Performs quality checks of benefits-related data.
Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
Assists with the open enrollment process.
Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes.
Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork : medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
Effectively interprets FMLA rules and regulations as they relate to leaves of absences / disabilities.
Provides confidential customer service and maintains appropriate privacy and confidentiality in all processes and paperwork
