Position Summary: The Case Manager – Floater provides therapy and case management services to children and families in order to facilitate safety, permanency, and well-being.
Location: Olathe KS
Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field licensable by the KS BSRB.
Experience: Previous experience with children and family services preferred
Licensure/Certification: Licensure by the Kansas BSRB Driver’s license and valid auto insurance required.
Essential Duties:
- Provide in-home services, therapy (if applicable), and crisis intervention.
- Organize case planning conferences and court-related tasks, including preparing reports, testifying, and completing court orders.
- Conduct family assessments, home studies, and develop safety/aftercare plans.
- Supervise family visits, support reintegration and adoption services, and provide Independent Living services.
- Maintain documentation, client files, and communicate with foster homes, DCF, courts, and community partners.
- Assist families with resources like housing, health care, and mental health services.
- Attend required training, provide area-specific expertise, and offer support across counties.
- Flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to manage cases with minimal notice are essential.
