- Identify, research, and develop funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
- Write, review, and submit compelling grant proposals to secure program funding.
- Manage and meet all grant reporting and compliance deadlines.
- Work closely with finance and leadership teams to develop accurate proposal budgets.
- Maintain relationships with funders, coordinate meetings, and arrange site visits.
- Organize and track grant activity, maintaining a submission and reporting calendar.
- Bachelor’s degree or five years of grant writing experience with a proven success record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and grant research platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with federal, state, and foundation grants preferred.
- Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge NXT, Guidestar, and other grant databases is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within Kansas and Missouri.
