KVC Missouri Community Based Services – Child Placement
Location : Hybrid - Remote (Must me located in Missouri near one of our office locations)
Pay : $50,500-$52,000 annually
Schedule : This role provides a Monday through Friday flexible schedule, on-call rotation may be required.
Job Summary
The Lead Licensing and Placement Specialist serves to screen, train, assess, and reassess foster / adoptive resource providers in competency-based skills who will be able to provide safe, secure homes enhancing the well-being of children in the custody of the Children’s Division.
This position provides training and support to foster, kinship, and adoptive homes to aid in placement stability efforts. The Lead Case Manager also provides supervision and consultation to a small team of Licensing and Placement Specialists and Relative Care Specialists to facilitate the same goals.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field; or master’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, counseling, or a related human services field.
Licensure / Certification : Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Required Experience : 2 years working with children and families in the social services field with one of those two years specifically case management with child welfare
Preferred Experience / Skills :
- Strong customer service focus.
- Excellent time management skills
- Professional oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
