What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regulation Coach position at KVC Health Systems?
The Regulation Coach is responsible for the Regulation Room- a place to help the brain and body discover peace. By executing the regulation plan, clients are provided opportunity to develop self-regulation skills and manage stress in a healthy way. The Regulation Coach works primarily in the education setting and assists in the residential milieu as needed.
Education: 60 College Credit Hours or Paraprofessional Certificate OR Substitute Teaching Certificate
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain Safe Crisis Management (SCM) Certification and utilize SCM when safety needs require it
- Possess a current, valid MO class E driver's license and meet the KVC requirements for driver’s insurance
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all transactions and communications
- Current, valid driver's license and meet KVC requirement for driver’s insurance
Experience:
- Knowledge of emotional disorders, behavior disorders, trauma and crisis intervention/prevention
- Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old to apply
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
- Valid driver's license
- Valid auto insurance.
