Location: Columbia, MO
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour (Depending on education and experience)
Job Summary
The Housekeeping position is responsible for the cleaning and disposing of trash for the administrative buildings and maintaining supplies for each building.
Major Duties:
Responsible for maintaining a supply of necessary housecleaning materials
Responsible for sweeping, vacuuming, moping, and waxing floors
Responsible for emptying and disposing of daily trash as assigned locations
Report unusual living quarter circumstances to their supervisor, such as temperatures, nonfunctioning devices, unusual messes, etc
Arrive promptly as scheduled and leave only as scheduled as well as clock in and out promptly
Present a courteous and professional attitude toward other staff, visitors, volunteers and clients Execute special duties in addition to normal duties at times as requested by her authorized supervisor
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Qualifications:
Possess knowledge of the necessary supplies and equipment to conduct housekeeping duties.
Ability to lift and move a at least 40 lbs of weight
Ability to complete job duties with minimal supervision
Possess a current, valid driver's license and meet KVC's requirements for good driving record for insurance purposes
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience: Experience performing cleaning duties
