Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Kvent Inc. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with sales experience to drive business growth across New Jersey, New York, and parts of Pennsylvania and Connecticut. The ideal candidate has a strong background in engineered sales within the food service industry, in-depth knowledge of kitchen ventilation systems, and a proven track record in technical sales. This position requires working onsite and collaborating closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet their operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the food service industry, including restaurants, commercial kitchens, and facility managers.
· Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate kitchen ventilation solutions, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and industry standards.
· Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide customized solutions and support during the sales process.
· Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
· Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Provide post-sale support, including troubleshooting and coordinating with installation teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in kitchen ventilation technology.
· Represent Kvent Inc. at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities within the assigned territory (NJ, NY, parts of PA and CT).
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in engineered sales within the food service industry.
· In-depth knowledge of kitchen ventilation systems, including design, functionality, and application.
· Demonstrated success in technical sales, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
· Ability to work onsite and travel within the assigned territory (NJ, NY, parts of PA and CT) as needed.
· Experience with CAD software is a plus but not required.
· Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM application
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
