Responsibilities
- Set up and install audio and visual equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, video monitors, and recording equipment.
- Operate sound boards, video cameras, projectors, and other audio and visual equipment during events.
- Test and troubleshoot audio and visual systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Provide technical support and assistance during events, including adjusting sound levels and lighting as needed.
- Maintain and clean audio and visual equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Keep inventory of audio and visual equipment and request repairs or replacements when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in audio visual technology is a plus.
- Proven experience working with audio and visual equipment in a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of audio visual systems, equipment, and best practices.
- Ability to solve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for event support.
