Promotion Director

KVOA-News 4 Tucson is looking for a dynamic Promotion Director to work with our Creative Services team. If you are a team player, have a passion for news and thrive on deadlines, then we are looking for you! The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of station image campaigns both on-air and on all our platforms, along with producing quality commercials.

The Promotion Director must have a flexible schedule. Days, nights, and some weekend work will be expected.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in television production.
• Non-linear editing skills required.
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects.
• Proficient with DSLRs.
• Must understand shot composition and basic lighting techniques.
• ENPS or iNews background, recommended.
• Be able to carry up to 40lbs of equipment.
• Wide Orbit experience, a plus.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for production of all station promos.
• Supervise and direct the work of production producers.
• Coordination of station special projects.
• Production of daily news promotion on all platforms.
• Attendance at off-site promotional station events.
• Responsible for Wide Orbit log programming.
• Production of client commercials.
