What are the responsibilities and job description for the Working General Manager concrete flatwork position at KW Construction?
Function: This position is assigned to do work in and around the South Metro and surrounding area. Work is to be performed Monday through Friday, with some potential for weekend work.
Overview: Manage a job crew of five (5) laborers. Assist in creating and executing daily work schedules.
Tasks and Duties:
- Track and record work hours.
- Ensure that actual hours worked do not exceed estimated hours.
- Able to set forms.
- Block laying experience and big plus Invoice for completed work.
- Able to read and follow the daily work schedule.
- Be able to amend work schedules as needed filling gaps as needed.
- Oversee and implement incentives for outstanding workers.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment (oil changes and lubes)
- Perform all other duties related duties as requested/ needed.
Qualifications
- Good Driving Record…CDL a plus.
- A minimum of ten (10) of experience working in small business environment wearing many hats.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Attention to details with an ability to think and plan ahead.
- Great communication skills
- Great organizational and planning skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs. (assisted)
